Digstock XIII — the 13th edition of the flagship Digstock metal-detecting event, Thursday March 4 through Sunday March 7, 2027, on more than 4,500 acres of privately leased land in northeastern North Carolina, near Roanoke Rapids and Weldon (Halifax County, on the Roanoke River). It's a return to the historic "Button Hill" ground that Digstock XII ran on — 100+ former homesites, colonial river landings, a 19th-century mill and a historic schoolhouse site, where detectorists have recovered colonial buttons, Spanish cobs and 8 reales, relics and early coinage. Ticket holders metal detect the property across the multi-day event. $215 per ticket, capped at 300 participants (70%+ sold as of September 2026).
