About this hunt

The Subterrix Cellar Run — Sunday, October 25, 2026 in Merrow, Connecticut: a full day on roughly 100 acres of never-before-detected colonial ground in the hills of eastern CT, capped at 60 detectorists. The land is dense with colonial history — dozens of intact cellar holes, miles of stone wall, old field lines, wells and dump sites — and has never been metal detected. Subterrix negotiated the day directly with the host of the CHS Wooded Relic Harvest, and it's available only through Subterrix. The ticket includes Subterrix's property research beforehand (the land's history, where structures stood, and where to start), a seeded token field with prizes on top of whatever the ground gives up, a staffed finds tent for on-site identification all day, and master classes plus a finds review with their Director of Coaching. $50 of every ticket goes to the local historical society that preserves the property. Open to Subterrix account holders only — but a free account (no paid membership required) is all it takes; slots fill in registration order and close at 60. A one-time hunt: this ground will not be detected twice.
