About this hunt
A public outing at the GPAP's Golden Dreams claim off Castle Hot Springs Rd near Morristown, Arizona, on Saturday, November 21, 2026 (starts 9 AM Arizona time). Metal detecting and digging for prizes: the host lists a gold nugget, a silver ingot and Mercury dimes, with more prizes to be added, and you keep all the coins you find. Chili cook-off at noon (bring your best chili and a side), then games and a drawing for a nugget or paydirt bag. GPAP will put out signs to guide you to the claim. The host's event says "Everyone is welcome."
