About this hunt
Three-day metal detecting event at the Springfield Maine Historic Fairgrounds (established 1834). Hunting access includes 60 acres of woods plus a portion of downtown Springfield (no door knocking required), a 200-year-old walking and stage coach road, a cellar hole, and three dumps from the 1840s and early 1900s. Saturday-night event for Rob's birthday with cake and a band. Includes a seeded pinpointer hunt with 500+ pieces of silver, jewelry, and prizes. Gear giveaways from Nokta, XP, Minelab, and Quest.
