About this hunt
The 2027 edition of Come Out Swingin', the twice-yearly relic hunt run by Boyertown Relic Recovery (the metal-detecting club of the Boyertown Area Historical Society) as a fundraiser for the society. Two days across nearly 100 acres of rural Berks County, PA farmland, combining seeded hunts with natural relic hunting. Target era spans the 1600s through the early 1900s — Revolutionary War, War of 1812, and Civil War ground. Family-friendly and welcoming to new detectorists while still challenging for veterans; past editions have drawn 100+ detectorists from across the country. Motto: Veni Vidi Detexi.
