About this hunt
Fall seeded open hunt — the LVTHC's annual Big Silver Hunt. ⚠️ The club's own 2026-27 events flyer marks this date TENTATIVE "due to the price of silver" — confirm with the club before travelling. The 2026 edition is 'Silver Strike 2' (dimes, quarters, halves & dollars), companion to their spring open hunt (#31). Saturday Oct 24, 2026 at 2583 South 10th St, Allentown PA 18103; registration 8:30–9:00 AM, event runs to ~2:00 PM. Two silver seeded hunts (a 225'×300' field split into 4 quadrants, 30–45 min each), a poker-run hunt, a free kids hunt, three raffle drawings, and a free lunch (sponsored by IWTV) — all included with paid registration; silver & gold raffles benefit the club. Rules: be registered by 9:00 AM, headphones required, hand shovels only, dig/retrieve your own targets and fill all holes, report your tally. REGISTRATION IS OPEN, LIMITED TO 80: $125 if paid by Oct 4, 2026; $150 after Oct 5 and for day-of walk-ins.
