About this hunt
The North American Miners Association's 4th Annual Gold N' Nugget Hunt — Saturday August 29, 2026, on a private property (overnight camping permitted) off Kersey Way SE / 55th St SE near Auburn, WA (southeast of the city toward Enumclaw). NAMA is Washington's oldest small-scale mining club — metal detecting, gold prospecting & rock hounding. Three seeded hunts salted with clad coins, gold, silver coins, misc items, and prize tokens, each round adding more prizes and new tokens: Hunt 1 (9:30–10:15 AM), Hunt 2 (11:30 AM–12:15 PM), Hunt 3 (1:45–2:30 PM), plus a free Kids Hunt for ages 12 & under (1:20–1:30 PM). Check-in/registration 8:00–9:15 AM; potluck 12:30–1:40 PM (club provides burgers & hot dogs, $5 suggested); final raffle 3:00 PM. Main raffle & 50/50 tickets sold until 2:30 PM; vendors welcome.
