About this hunt
Metal-detecting competition hosted by the Headwaters Chapter of the GPAA in Radersburg, Montana. Open to the public and billed as a great hunt for beginners. The object is to detect as much buried JUNK as you can — everything from BBs to tin cans — scored against a points worksheet that grows every year, with treasure prizes awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Both VLF and PI detectors are allowed. Registration 9:00 AM, hunt runs 10:00 AM to noon. Kids hunt free. The club also runs the Annual Rick Radke Detector Hunt (coins, silver and gold) each June.
