About this hunt
GTES's 4th Annual Open Holiday Hunt at Audubon Park, 342 West Oates Road, Garland TX — about 1.2 miles north of I-635 on Oates. Everyone is welcome, and it runs rain, shine or snow. One entry fee covers BOTH hunts plus lunch, and the club states that all entry fees go back into the hunts. Schedule: 9:00-9:30 registration, 9:30-10:00 Dollar Hunt, 10:15-11:00 Silver Dime Hunt (tokens redeemed for prizes), 11:15 lunch, 11:30-12:00 fundraiser prize drawing for silver dollars and rounds. STRICTLY CAPPED AT 55 HUNTERS — entries beyond 55 are returned, and there are NO hunt-day signups, so mail early. Entry must be POSTMARKED BY NOVEMBER 30, 2026. No coils over 12 inches. Bring a lawn chair and something to drink. Entry form is mailed to the club's huntmaster with a check payable to GTES.
