About this hunt
Gone Diggin's flagship community dig — three days, November 9th, 10th and 11th 2026, at Long's Grain and Seed on Virginia's Eastern Shore: over 500 acres of huntable permission farmland with multiple home sites and confirmed 1800s habitation. This is a return trip to finish ground the group left off the previous fall, and the organisers have since added about 250 more acres, with more possible depending on how the crops come off. Natural permission hunting rather than a planted hunt — ground-penetrating radar will be run on site to locate trash pits and bottle dumps. Hosted by Matt Howell of Gone Diggin'. Capped and nearly full: 71 registered with 9 spots left as of August 11, 2026.
