A combined seeded and natural hunt on 110 acres at Nassau, New York, in Rensselaer County — the eighth event in the Fall Out series of autumn hunts. Check-in is at 8:30 AM and both hunts begin at 9:00 AM, running until 4:00 PM. Lunch is served on the grounds, with food and beverage provided to everyone, and there are raffles and a 50/50 drawing during the day. Places are limited. The $100 entry is paid by Venmo to venmo.com/u/Dutchtoga; the flyer also carries a scan-to-pay QR code. The Facebook event for this hunt is invite-only, so the flyer is the public source of details. The hunt is named for Dr. Smith Boughton, the physician known as "Big Thunder," who led the Anti-Rent resistance in this corner of Rensselaer County and rallied ten thousand tenant farmers at Nassau on July 4th, 1844.
